The new model joins the Prospex Speedtimer collection. As with all Speedtimer chronographs, every detail has been designed to reflect the precision required to measure elapsed time at the highest level. The chronograph seconds hand extends to the tachymeter markings on the edge of the dial. The minute hand at six o'clock and the central seconds hand are red, so that the elapsed time can be read accurately at a glance. The date display is located between the markers so that the time is always clearly visible. The watch is powered by Seiko's solar-powered caliber V192, which offers a 60-minute chronograph, 24-hour subdial and, when fully charged, runs for up to six months without exposure to light. The smooth finish of the strap combined with the domed sapphire crystal gives the watch a classic yet sporty look.
